Hotlanta is the spot lately for making movies and hosting reality shows despite the back drop of high crime activity. His touch was electric

It was lunch time at the Square and with the bustling amount of people trying to cross the street from every angle I stood frozen still in total silent bliss because a stranger just brushed his hand across my shoulder. He was simply helping to regain my balance ; still I could not deny his touch was electric. The little hairs on my arm are standing straight up at attention even the little hairs on the back of my neck was aware of his touch. With that much electricity who needs Georgia Power? While it seemed like everyone was on a mission to find lunch; oddly enough, I was on a mission to understand why my initial reaction from a single touch left me grasping for control of my balance. Yes, I was trying to maintain my balance because I had foolishly let all my papers slip when I ran across the busy intersection and this kind unnamed man stopped to gather up my papers and stop me from creating anymore disorderly conduct. In the process of all the flying papers his hand magically came

Recently, the Atlanta History Center celebrated with a Party with the Past theme at the Center for Civil and Human Rights. The History Center regularly brings together groups with historical background themes around Atlanta. The unique component is the collective group of individuals who attend and obviously enjoy the beauty of the rich history that is found within the streets of Atlanta. Party with the Past In fact, partying with the past is an awesome idea to show how important the steps our ancestors took enabled us to have the freedom of independence we have today. Ironically, there is probably no other fitting place to host such a relevant event. The struggles and protest that took place in Atlanta are well documented and on display within the museum. Downtown Atlanta This time the area was in Downtown Atlanta. This part of Atlanta has evolved and transformed into a myriad of conventioneers spots, restaurant's, and  a minute away from the Georgia Aquarium. It is even r

Sweet treats on National Donut Day

In Atlanta the weather on this Friday is wet and gray! Our usual sunny weather is replaced by pockets of showers all over the place. Donuts are a superb way to smile despite the Atlanta weather. Plus, it's the end of the week and walking away from the computer and into a donut oasis like Dunkin Donuts to get a free donut is an awesome way to end the day. Sometimes the smell of the fresh donuts is an overwhelming feeling. Or if you go thru the drive thru the pictures make it hard to pick just one. My donut selection has definitely made my week a little sweeter. Plus, I ordered a medium cup of coffee to dip my donuts. H
