Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2016- Best Night of Fashion in Atlanta
The last Monday in August is usually a sweltering night and it is also usually the best night of Fashion in Atlanta for those fortunate enough to attend the 2016 Jeffrey Fashion Cares. This event is just as hot as the Atlanta heat; however, it's all about the heat radiating from the fashion and the charitable actions of the guest
Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2016 On August 29, 2016 in Phipps Plaza, Jeffrey Fashion Cares held
their annual event dedicated to charity and fashion. Jeffrey Kalinsky certainly
continues to make fashion dreams come true as well as successfully combining
the beauty of fashion with the powerfulness of charity. Actually, the event benefits AIDS and Breast
Cancer.
Red Carpet, Cocktail Mixer, Fashion Show After the valet takes your car you walk into Phipps Plaza and you are greeted with a red carpet walk complete with photo opportunities as you make your entrance. Next, you step into a cocktail mixer to mingle with the
fabulously attired Atlanta guests. Some noticeable celebrity guest included: Porsha Williams of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta and news presenter, Jovita Moore of WSB-TV. To stir up the conversation there are themed
cocktails and lite scrumptious bites. My favorite was the Spicy Margarita and
the mini Crab cakes. Just when the conversation and name dropping is getting
good the guest are reminded that fashion lies ahead and are escorted into a
private room with a remarkable runway in the center.
Live Auction for Charity Once everyone is seated
the live auction begins. Fabulous items like diamond earrings, private jets to
Falcons games, and even a trip to Africa are all a part of the things that have
been donated to raise money for the causes. Like lightning the guests are doing
the bidding. It is so refreshing to see how many people give donations just
because they want to help. Even with all the excitement and bidding going
around there is still more excitement pending. The models are about to hit the
runaway with the hottest looks for fall 2016.
Hottest night of Fashion in Atlanta It is simply mesmerizing as you
notice the liquid vibrant colors, the tall boots, the long coats, the fluttery
dresses, and the unusual patterns. The fabric sways and the pieces combine effortlessly. It is a poetic moment and the clothes are the
verse while the accessories add the punctuation. Indeed it is a hot night of fashion in Atlanta as fall for 2016 becomes a reason to create a myriad of excuses to wear such enviable designs.
What’s different for fall? Look for the vibrancy of punchy reds, sea like blues, and pungent yellows. Pants with flared style, fitted and textured dresses, and silhouettes that are striking. Some of the designers lighting up the runway included: Gucci, Christian Dior, Valentino, and Manolo Blahnik. By the end of the night everyone knows that Susan G. Komen and the Atlanta AIDS Fund have undoubtedly received charitable donations from one of the most giving and fashionable crowds in Atlanta.
It is quite obvious that so many people worked tirelessly to pull off such an evening of fabulousness Thanks to so many from the serving staff to the escorts... and of course Jeffrey Kalinsky. A special thanks to Caren West PR, llc for the invite.
