Atlanta welcomes TERMINUS Event

Gamers at Terminus Event

This weekend Atlanta, Georgia is proudly welcoming the TERMINUS Group back to their original roots. TERMINUS is a collaboration of incredibly talented students from the Campus Movie Fest (CMF), along with various content creators of video games, film, education, and networking.

Amazingly, this original collaboration started at Emory University in Atlanta approximately 16 years ago. The event kicked off at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis on Thursday, June 17, 2016 and will continue in the city until June 19, 2016. During that time there are workshops, panel discussions, gaming activities, and festival screenings. The weekend culminates with red carpet type awards for some of the best in television, film, and gaming.

Judging by the excitement on Thursday night surrounding old school games from Mario Brothers and Atari…you can tell it is an experience that will surely ignite even more creative moments. Josh Feldman, who is attending the event from Wisconsin says,  he is excited about reliving the old school games on the consoles and using the old school joystick! "I could play this all night!" Josh says while playing games with friends.

Josh and hundreds of other attendees were treated to the free gaming play and tournaments while picking up their registration for the event. Marriott hotel served as the perfect spot to begin the fun-filled weekend. There was even access to the patio and the beautiful Atlanta night skyline.
