The Plug rolls out the red carpet for movie premiere


The blazing hot movie “The Plug”  was featured to a standing room only crowd on Sunday August 14, 2016 right outside the heart of downtown Atlanta in an intimate theatre setting at 444 Highland. "The Plug" is a new urban film that cleverly uses hot tracks as the background for an action filled tale. To celebrate this new film release they rolled out the red carpet and invited some of Atlanta’s trend setters, music professionals, industry executives, and fans. All in all the premiere screening of the movie "The Plug" was greeted with an electric welcoming from the mix crowd.

The red carpet experience was hosted by Laconic Productions and Talented 10 productions. Those in attendance were treated to complimentary popcorn from the Gourmet Popcorn Bar along with drinks from Bomade Organic Lemonade Vodka, Red’s Apple Ale, Miller Lite, and even Henry’s Hard Soda.

Daniel Dickey, Founder of the Resource Guild took a moment to welcome the crowd and give information on this incredible independent film. Next, the hot sounds of a live performance from Cyhi The Prince (G.O.O.D. Music Artist/ Atlanta native) came on and rocked the crowd to have everyone eager with anticipation of the film. Once the film began the beats from the movie continued to keep the crowd rocking. Even when the film was over the love was felt from the standing ovation of the industry crowd and fans in the building.  “The Plug” is most assuredly a movie that will keep you moving, laughing, and wondering where you can pick up the hot soundtrack.
