Looking inside the Center for Civil and Human Rights

Recently, the Atlanta History Center celebrated with a Party with the Past theme at the Center for Civil and Human Rights. The History Center regularly brings together groups with historical background themes around Atlanta. The unique component is the collective group of individuals who attend and obviously enjoy the beauty of the rich history that is found within the streets of Atlanta.

Party with the Past
In fact, partying with the past is an awesome idea to show how important the steps our ancestors took enabled us to have the freedom of independence we have today. Ironically, there is probably no other fitting place to host such a relevant event. The struggles and protest that took place in Atlanta are well documented and on display within the museum.

Downtown Atlanta
This time the area was in Downtown Atlanta. This part of Atlanta has evolved and transformed into a myriad of conventioneers spots, restaurant's, and  a minute away from the Georgia Aquarium. It is even right next to Centennial Park and The World of Coca- Cola. The amount of fun packed activities in one spot is mind- boggling. The turnout for the event was just shy of being too crowded and the atmosphere was lively with the sounds of jazz from the modern jazz band #Thx4Listenin playing in the background.

Center for Civil and Human Rights
This event brings even more awareness to the Center for Civil and Human Rights. This is an amazing historical attraction that daringly displays the steps involved in creating an American Civil Rights Movement.  There are different points of interest that take visitors through a bluntly vivid depiction from past struggles. The display leaves one dutifully informed of the ugliness of segregation.

Creating a Global Human Rights Movement
There is no way to leave unmoved from these series of historically shaking pieces. Having this museum in Atlanta is so fitting because ultimately we want a Global Human Rights Movement.
